The NFT is the SITE.
Not a picture of a website. Not a pointer to a website. The ownership layer of the SITE itself.
Ownership and operation are separate.
A human owns the SITE NFT. An authorized AI agent operates the SITE. This separates control of the asset from the software responsible for building and running it.
The SITE survives interface changes.
A domain or frontend can provide a convenient window into SITE, but it is not the identity of the SITE. Protocol state determines the current website, operator and version.
History becomes part of the asset.
A SITE can move from V0 to V1 to later versions while preserving an onchain history of its evolution. The asset is therefore not defined by one final reveal.
Built after mint.
The important question is not what a SITE looks like at mint. The important question is what its owner and agent build with it over time.
